THE COMPANY

Falmouth based family run premium holiday let business specialising in high quality stays. They focus on growing their business through Falmouth residents looking to rent, without the time to do so. Along with renting their own properties, the business has grown over the last few years and aims to provide its own platform, cutting out existing platform fees for customers.

The business has two arms, a business to business side to appeal to local residents to manage their properties, as well as looking towards consumers and marketing said properties to the public throughout the year.

In addition to this they provide extra services which cannot be provided on existing holiday rent platforms such as paddleboard rental.

THE LOGO

Inspired by the coastal charm of Falmouth in Cornwall, the logo embodies the essence of Rowes Retreats. As specialists in seaside getaways, it evokes imagery of sun and waves for customers. The typeface and layout draw inspiration from classic nautical themes, while the color palette adds an elegant, premium touch—reflecting the pride Rowes Retreats takes in its diverse range of holiday accommodations.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Responsible for delivering property photography for multiple rentals. As the primary factor influencing bookings, it was essential to showcase the high-quality properties available.

Using Photoshop and Lightroom to drastically improve each image and allow them to sit together as a showcase.

BROCHURES

To enhance customer experience, Rowes Retreats aimed to provide rental information booklets to guests before their arrival. These booklets consolidate essential details, including lockbox codes, Wi-Fi access, and directions, all in one convenient location.

Designed in a straightforward format, these booklets can be easily adapted for each of their 14 properties, showcasing both the locations and the accommodations. The tasks of copywriting, proofreading all content, and ensuring a cohesive brochure style aligned with the brand were significant challenges to address.

One key issue was ensuring the booklets remained editable, allowing them to be displayed on the website without revealing sensitive information like lockbox codes. Consequently, a separate brochure would be sent to guests after their booking.

B2B MARKETING

The business requested flyers to be distributed throughout Falmouth. These flyers contained all necessary contact information and included a QR code, allowing potential renters to engage with their asset management and rental services.
